Cadillac Escalade is a large sized luxury car which was launched in 1999. Till now, several models of Cadillac Escalade have been launched with variations in its exterior shape, size, and cuts. However, the interior of all the models remain almost the same with only slightest chances. Cadillac Escalade has a trendy appeal, well furnished interior, and gives brilliant performance all over.
Adjusting the headlights of a Cadillac is not a difficult task and can be done manually quite easily. In order to adjust the Cadillac Escalade's headlights, you need a Torx T15 screwdriver or an E8 Torx socket. You need to park your car at a distance of about 15 to 25 feet from your garage door so that you can clearly see the path and trajectory of each headlight. Another way of getting a closer and clearer view is to do this task at night when darkness appears or you can also switch of the garage lights in order to see the trajectory clearly. Another important factor in adjusting the headlights is to make sure that you car is parked on a leveled surface. In case you car is parked on a rough and uneven surface; you won't be able to adjust the headlight properly.
In order to start working on the headlights, you need to open the hood in order to trace the headlight tuning screws. The screws are usually located near the headlamps. After that you need to turn the screws with the E8 socket or the Torx screwdriver. Next, you need to adjust the horizontal screw which is on the left hand side till the marker on the right comes in lines with the zero. After that, you can check the trajectory of the headlights on the nearby wall.
Just like adjusting the Cadillac Escalade headlights, changing the bulb of headlight can also be done manually. All you need in order to replace headlight bulb is a HID-D1R and 9005 replacement bulbs and a flathead screwdriver.
